The fish is gone and et. Mama is gone.She don't walk around just walk with the shadow walking behind her. The fish has gone, it never walked but God put it here with it's shadow and it had a shadow so mama is gone like the fish. Why does that horse kick
That horse has many ticks
I hate that F%#&ing Horse
I love that God$&#% Horse
Eat your hay horse
Those stupid kids can't even figure out how to cross a river. I thought that I had whipped them enough for them to be smarter. Cash and Darl were so lazy just sitting in the cart. Jewel was amazing. He rode his horse back and forth so many times trying to help get my coffin across. I know that it shouldn't be to hard for them because Whitfield crossed it on his horse by himself. And where is Anse? He was supposed to be the one that took my body to Jefferson in the first palce. What makes it worse is that I got all wet bacaus estupid Cash didn't balance the coffin. Jewel wasn't to blame becasue he was just trying to get acroos to Jefferson becasue he loved me so much. What is even worse is that they didn't even check the river for logs floating don the river. They just let the log hit my nice car. My coffin got all wet. Those kids are so stuid. They got my mules killed that I earned because Anse was too lazy to get his own. Cash and Darl are just like Anse, they are so lazy. Jewel did everything so well. I'm so glad Cash and Darl aren't my kids. Cash and Darl are Anse's kid's. That explains why they are so lazy. I can't believe that my whipping didn't make them hard workers. That was the point. I hate these kids.

William Faulkner: When I wrote this section I first thought of making Addie a nice old lady who loved her kids. Then my mother sent me nasty letter citicising my other books so I decided to make Addie a mean old lady who hates her kids and cheated on her husband. HAhahahaha TAKE THAT MOTHER!
